Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is a fantastic book! This is a very funny book about Greg Heffley, a wimpy, nerdy kid who has just moved into town. He has only one friend but it's a best friend, a kid named Rowley. He's not the coolest either, but to each other they are pretty cool. Greg tries to get popular everyday and do cool stuff, but it just doesn't work out for him. He and his friend are just not cool. Also this book makes you just want to keep reading. This is a grea funny book and you will love it as Gread leads you through his adventures in his Diary such as: getting chased by high school guys, safety patrol, and the cheese touch. You really need to check this book out becuase it is a really good book.

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen by Dyan Sheldon

Have you ever been to a place where you felt you really don't fit in because you're too much of a drama queen? Well, if you have, then Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen is the book for you. Mary Elizabeth Step (Lola, as she is called) moves to Dellawood, California and starts to attend Dellawood High (or as she calls it, Deadwood High). Things start to mix and turn as she faces many twists, including coming face to face with Carla Santini, the beautiful and most popular girl in Dellawood High. Will she be able to make it through high school or will she humiliate herself in the process?

Chocolate Fever by Robert Kimmel Smith

This book is about this boy that likes to eat chocolate a lot. Every time he eats something, he puts chocolate in it. For example, the only cake he eats is chocolate and the only ice cream he eats is chocolate.

One day a lot of chocolate freckles came all over his body so he went to the doctor where he was told he had chocolate fever. Henry, the boy, started running and running until everybody stopped following him. Then he found a man who told him that he needed to go back to his family because everybody was looking for him. Then he went back to live with his family. He didn't eat chocolate again. When he woke up the next day, he didn't have any chocolate freckles. His mom called him to eat breakfast. He grabbed the cinnamon and poured it on his cereal. He thought about putting cinnamon on everything until he got "Cinnamon Fever."

All children and people who like chocolate a lot would enjoy reading this funny book. Henry does and says many funny things. For example, he even put chocolate on his sandwiches and spaghetti! Later he told a boy who wanted to beat him up that he had chocolate fever. The bully was scared of him. This is an easy, funny book to read. Most people will like it.

Football Hero by Tim Green

This is a great book about a boy named Ty who has an older brother name Thane that plays NFL football. Ty is a very lanky boy who lives with his uncle and his aunt. He goes to a new school and tries out for the football team and he makes the team. He is actually one of the best players on the team, next to Calvin. The coach is basically in love with Ty. Thane winds up with a knee injury and almost looses his career, but he doesn't. Does Ty get to start? Does Thane get better? To answer these questions you will have to read the book and find out.

Blind Side: The Evolution of a Game by Michael Lewis

This book is about a young boy who is raised in the poor part of Memphis with a mother who is addicted to drugs. As he struggles to find food and shelter, he finds Big Mike. Big Mike enrolls him and his own son in a private Christian school. After a few weeks of sleeping in the school gym overnight, a weathly family invites him to sleep in their house for a night. They grow fond of him and soon adopt him. He soon finds his strength, football. By the 12th grade, he is 6'4", 350 lbs., and is very quick on his feet. He becomes a high star recruit at left tackle. As the story goes on the author, Michael Lewis, twists Michael Ohre's story with how important the left tackle became over the years: protecting the blind side of the quarterback.

Crackback by John Coy

One of the books I read is called Crackback by John Coy. This book is about an 18-year-old boy named Mils Manning who plays for his high-school football team. Throughout the book Miles has to face many obstacles like game-winning plays, steroids, and girls. Miles' football team is trying to win conference and state, but Miles is going to try to be superstar. Also, I would reocmmend this book to mainly people who like sports.

The story Crackback is an exciting book. This book is recommeded for anyone who likes football books. This book is about a boy named Miles Manning and his football team. This year his team is favored to win the conference and go to state. Everyone is pushing Miles to be bigger, stronger, and faster, from his coaches to his best friend. Now Miles is facing a touch decision: Is he willing to do what it takes to be tough?

Joe Montana: Comeback Quarterback by Thomas R. Raber

In the beginning of the book, Joe Montana is just a little boy who loves football, even when he was a little kid Joe played football. A little while down the road Joe gets tired of football and almost quits on football for boy scouts! Of course, Joe went with football and became a three time Super Bowl winning quarterback. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to write a biography on Joe Montana or just wants to read a good sports book.
